Homebound Delivery Service
Don't want to go out? Order in!
This service is available to all library patrons. Additionally, if you, or a loved one, are unable to travel to the Glenwood Public Library, we still want to provide you with library service. Our "Homebound Delivery Service," run by library volunteers, is well positioned to serve individuals who are unable to visit the library.
How it works:
Twice a month, we will deliver up to ten items. Items can be reserved online, or you can provide us with a list of interests (ie, Inspirational Fiction in Large Print, Graphic Novels, Comedy DVDs, Midwest Living magazines) and we will fill your basket for you.
The materials will be checked out to your account exactly as if you had visited the library. A volunteer will deliver your new items and pick up your old items. If you’d like to sign up for this service, please fill out the form here. Feel free to ask us questions, or to sign-up to be a volunteer delivery driver, by calling (712) 527-5252.
