For Children
Programs and services especially for children.
Our philosophy is to foster the love of books and reading in each child.
Our Children's Room is located in the lower level of the Library. You may enter from the upstairs or use the ramp entrance located south of the front door. We have a very welcoming atmosphere! Besides our wonderful collection of books; we have movies and magazines to browse. Our Library also has Story bags to circulate. Each story bag has a different theme, containing about 3 books, an activity sheet, and an item that identifies with that theme. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and the Glenwood Public Library teamed together to make these available for loan.
Every Tuesday at 10am and Thursday at 4pm is "Story Time" for kids of all ages.
Crafts available anytime you visit the library - just ask at the Children's desk.
